NATURE to NURTURE
Outdoor play has seen a decline in recent years but a new nature movement is growing and more and more people are beginning to recognize how important it is for our children’s health and well-being. We believe that the time spent within the natural environment enhances a person’s wellbeing and develops fundamental skills necessary for lifelong learning. We believe that our woodland environments have the ability to develop children’s physicality, inspire their creativity, and enrich the senses. By creating an environment that challenges children’s physical capabilities, we will begin to improve their health, wellbeing and cognitive abilities. We believe that friendship and happiness are closely connected so our programmes are designed with human and nature connection in mind.
